Transfer the BFC from a CEX such as Bithumb or Upbit to a wallet(such as Metamask or Biport). Typically, you can withdraw from the "deposit and withdrawal page" of a CEX, and make sure to copy and enter the receiving address accurately from your wallet.
If you don't have an account either on Bithumb or Upbit use Bifrost bridge.
Use the Bridge service to bridge the BFC from the other network to the BFC on the Bifrost network. Please follow the steps below.
Step 1. Connecting your wallet.
Access the BIFROST Bridge.
Press the Connect Wallet
button on the top right corner to connect your wallet. Biport and MetaMask are currently supported. Choose your wallet and connect.
Step 2. Choosing a network, and token
Press From
to choose a network. Currently, you can choose from Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon.
Choose the token. Depending on the network, there are different tokens that are supported. For more information, please refer to the “Supported networks and tokens” page.
Enter the number of tokens to be bridged.
Please make sure this number is between the minimum amount to deposit, and the maximum, as shown below. If this condition is not met, bridge execution may fail. (The “Maximum amount to deposit” may change depending on liquidity conditions.)
Step 3. Execute bridging
Please double-check the number of tokens, networks, and tokens to make sure they are correct.
Please check the number of tokens to be received after bridging, as well as the fees. The BIFROST Bridge currently charges a minimum of 0.005% to a maximum of 0.05% as a service fee. This fee varies depending on network conditions and is subject to change.
Press Deposit
at the bottom to execute the bridging.
A transaction confirmation will be requested from the connected wallet. Check the expected gas fee and press Confirm
.
Once bridging is completed, “Success” will be shown in green. The amount of time for bridging depends on network conditions.
Step 4. Checking bridge transactions
You can click the wallet button to verify the executed bridge transactions. A completed transaction will be shown with a checkmark next to it. Clicking on a transaction hash(e.g. 0x6e…38b6) will lead to the BIFROST Network Explorer page.
Details of transactions can be found on the BIFROST Network Explorer.
